It was midnight last night but a sea of eager nerds and nerdesses gathered together in Los Angeles for yet another piece of Iconic history: Scott Pilgrim.

As many of you know, the book has gotten a lot of limelight with its upcoming movie adaptation release.  The line outside of Meltdown Comics poured over and wrapped around the block.  Cosplayers clad as their their favorite characters of good and evil exes stood with the normal in unison of completing this mission.

The release yesterday of the culmination of the series brought a number of conversations about its difference from the movie and the book.

While the movie is taken over the series of a couple of weeks, the book itself goes the span of a year. As the movie was written and produced before the analog series, audiences discussed how the story was effected.

Do you have a preference?

Did anyone else stand in line at midnight and get your nerd on last night to snag a copy?  If so,what about the book brought you there?  Inquiring minds want to know!
